nancy on the cover of midwest living

I'm so excited for my friend Nancy Arbuckle! Her home is featured on the November/ December 2009 cover of Midwest Living. Nancy has bred champion labs for the past 30 years and has judged them at Westminster. I can personally attest to the fact that these dogs are even cuter in person! She has built a beautiful home in Zionsville, IN and the article featuring her place is just so cozy and festive! Also props to my other friend Betsy Harris who produced the article- great job. I suggest you grab a copy and cup of coco.

spooky season

Thanks for all the cute ideas Martha! The pumpkin cooler is my favorite- how cute and simple is that? I can't wait until baby L is here next year and I can put her in a costume! Only then will I stop torturing my dogs with Halloween outfits.

back home again

I counted less than ten fellow pregos at 3 different Disney parks in 4 days. This sort of surprised me. By the end of our trip though it became clear why that may have been. Phew- that was hard work! Even with sensible shoes my feet were throbbing by the end of every day. That didn't stop us though! We had a great time and it was nice to get away for a few days.

merci beaucoup

Call me old fashioned but the use of these handy little note cards are highly underrated these days.

You can find these note cards here.

so fresh & so clean-clean

It's so livable, crisp and clean. I just want to settle in with my waffle maker and crank out a breakfast fit for a queen. Then I would sip coffee all day while listening to a sweet mix of music and flip through my new magazines until they are dog eared. The end.

Thanks for the daydream skona hem.

GhostWalk Round I

Jazz entertainment was provided by the Brick Street Quartet.

The girls from the Interactive Academy were on hand to entertain guests with cheers to classics like The Monster Mash.

Guests enjoyed hot cider and other yummy concessions.

Last night was this first night of the Zionsville GhostWalk. It's our largest annual fundraiser for the place I work and we usually average about 1,000 people over the course of two evenings. Despite the cold weather we had a successful first night! Round II here I come...
